Films and screenplays programmed in the competitions are eligible for awards across a variety of categories.
Art matters. Film matters. They have the ability to give us hope and to highlight the similarities of our global experience as human beings. Our society works with this award for 10 years. The awards are open to all nationalities. In all editions of LASA, we brought the questions and contentious issues of the times to contemporary cinema. But we never lost sight of the public, setting out to raise their awareness of the causes in film after film.
Annually showcasing the best films and screenplays from around the world. Programmed films are eligible for awards in the following categories: Narrative feature, Short, Animation, Documentary, and Screenplay, as well as awards for best director, best performance, and more. These films compete for the festival’s prize, with program films from around the world of striking and masterfully crafted, showcases the best in current cinema.
Official awards consist of LASA Trophies and Certificates. On the occasion of this edition of LASA, international juries comprised of leading film writers, directors, producers and critics will evaluate and then select the best features, shorts and screenplays with awards. Awards will be presented in the following categories:
